I did at one time, but don't remember most of them. I would have to look at a list of public domain heroes and choose all over again. I like Stardust, but I don't want any characters who are that god-like. The idea would be that it's the 1950's, and a bunch of Golden Age heroes are working day jobs, but get called back into action for an emergency situation.
Stardust and Fantomah are there to make me think crazier than I normally would. I like to annoy myself into thinking of things outside my habitual tropes. I've generally preferred the street level heroes over the cosmic types.

I've thought about drawing a superhero story that used public domain characters (none of these though). Maybe one day I'll do it.
